ABF Low pH Humic acids are complex molecules that neutralize alkaline soils, thus regulating soil pH, they also promote the conversion of nutrient elements such as N, P, K, Fe, Zn into available forms due to a higher cation exchange capacity, thus promoting growth. Humic acid improves soil structure in different ways:<\/p>\n
– In light soils, humic acid increases water holding capacity as well as nutrient holding capacity, thus avoiding nutrient and water losses from the soil, promoting water and nutrient and water availability in the root zone.<\/p>\n
– In heavy soils, humic acid helps loosen the soil, which further increases the penetration of water, nutrients and increases soil aeration.<\/p>\n
